Life Changes
Siblings Australia and Kaleidoscope Focus are delighted to announce a new partnership to deliver Life Changes, a peer-to-peer training and mentoring program for adults living with disability and their adult siblings.
This exciting new program aims to build on the skills, knowledge and confidence of people living with disability, and their siblings, to successfully navigate transitional life events.
Life Changes will be delivered over the next three years through a series of workshops and mentoring groups. We will be recruiting participants later this year… watch this space!
Funded by the Department of Social Services’ Information, Linkages and Capacity Building program.
We have had many emergency events in Australia in the last years like bushfires and floods and the COVID-19 pandemic.
These events showed us how important it is for NDIS Providers to be prepared for dealing with emergencies and disasters.
The R4NED website and resources have been made to help NDIS Providers and NDIS Participants get ready for, manage, and recover from emergencies and disasters.
The resources can also help NDIS Providers meet the requirements of the NDIS Practice Standard for Emergency and Disaster Management.
Other people with disability, their family and supporters, emergency services and community organisations, and the general public may also find the website and resources useful.
