What we do
What we do
Kaleidoscope Focus takes a straightforward approach to working with complex problems.
We sit with organisations to find creative solutions to challenges they are facing.
We support people to make smarter decisions, take measured risks, and work with compassion.
Kaleidoscope Focus works with people and organisations to rediscover and revitalise their direction, and to grow their capacities and capabilities, so they can better support the people and communities they serve.
We seek to make meaningful difference by sharing our expertise and knowledge so that the people and organisations we work with can magnify their – and our – positive impact.
Working with individuals
We work with individuals to reflect on what they do, connect with their own values and their organisation’s values, and learn how to look after themselves. We support people to recognise and make the most of their capacity, and to develop new capabilities.
We do this through:
- coaching
- mentoring
- skills development
Examples of our work with individuals
Mentoring
Individual mentoring sessions as part of a leadership development program for directors and managers in the out-of-home-care team to increase people’s confidence in their roles, and promote team cohesion.

Coaching and leadership skill development
As part of a broader program for fostering leadership and supporting senior staff during the devolution of an institutionalised setting, personalised coaching and skill development was delivered over a three-year period. Individuals from two levels of management were coached using methods that supported their own needs and capabilities, whilst enabling stronger partnerships across management and staff.

We do this through:
- Reviewing team objectives, functions, and dynamics
- Refining and developing sustainable strategies for improvement
- Growing leadership capacity
