Emergency and Disaster Management Support for NDIS providers

Kaleidoscope Focus is developing a toolkit of emergency and disaster management resources, for supporting NDIS Providers and NDIS Participants in the planning, preparedness, response, and recovery associated with events such as flooding, bushfires, pandemics, and other such occurrences.

The involvement of, and consultation and codesign with people with disability, their supporters, and NDIS Providers is paramount to this project.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Phase 1 consultation. We are now starting Phase 2 which involves targeted consultation with groups we didn’t talk to in Phase 1, along with codesign of resources.

This project received grant funding from the Australian Government, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. It is due to be completed by July 2024.
